What is REACH-certified leather?

The acronym “REACH” stands for: Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals. The EU REACH regulation is a comprehensive and far-reaching set of environmental rules designed to ensure the safety of chemicals used in manufacturing. Our leather fully complies with its extensive requirements.

How strong and rustproof is stainless steel?

Our stainless steel has been rigorously tested in laboratories and is capable of withstanding forces of up to 60 kg (around 130 lbs). It is also one of the most rust-resistant steel materials and offers exceptional durability.

How resistant are Ylesan accessories? I have a very big dog that pulls hard on the collar and leash.

Ylesan products have been carefully tested in laboratories to ensure their strength and durability. However, we strongly advise connecting the leash exclusively to the D-ring attachments and never to the turnlock on the top of the harness. The turnlock is intended solely as a closure mechanism and must not be used as a leash attachment point.

What size should I order for my pet?

Ylesan Sahara accessories are designed for dogs with larger builds. We recommend measuring your pet’s neck circumference and adding half an inch (1.27 cm) to ensure a comfortable fit. Please follow the same guideline for harnesses, focusing on your pet’s chest measurement.

Each product is photographed with close attention to detail, and the colors shown are intended to accurately reflect the actual product. However, slight variations may occur between screens due to different monitor settings and display calibrations.

How do I place an order online?

You can view and/or edit your cart at any time by clicking the cart icon in the top right corner of any page on our website. From there, you can proceed to checkout.

After completing your payment, a confirmation page will appear showing your order number, confirming that we have received your order. We will also send you an order confirmation email.

Is there a maximum number of Ylesan accessories I can buy?

You may purchase up to five items from each collection.

Can I change my order or shipping details after placing an order?

We can cancel an order while it is being prepared for shipment. However, once an order has been processed, we are unable to change any shipping details or add items to an existing order. If you would like to update the delivery address, please email info@ylesan.com to check whether it can still be adjusted.

Can I add a gift message after placing my order?

Currently, we are not able to include gift wrapping with orders. That said, we are actively working to introduce this option soon.

What is the availability status of items on Ylesan.com?

Why is there sometimes a delay before one of your pet leather products becomes available?

All our products are handmade by skilled artisans following very strict quality standards. We mainly use leather, a natural and limited material selected under Ylesan’s rigorous criteria. As a result, producing a Ylesan leather pet accessory can take several weeks before it is ready for sale.

How can I find out when an item is back in stock?

Click “Join the waitlist” below the sold-out product and enter your email address to receive a notification when it becomes available again. Alternatively, you can sign up for our newsletter to stay informed about all things Ylesan. You can also follow us on our social media channels here @Ylesan .

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order lets you reserve products that are not yet available in stock but can be purchased in advance online. We will email you once your pre-ordered item is ready. A shipping confirmation will be sent when your order is dispatched, and your payment will be processed at that time. The launch date is shown beneath the pre-order button on the product page.

When will my pre-order be charged?

Your card will be charged when the item becomes available and is ready for shipment. Please note that the payment will be processed using the same card used for the order, and it is not possible to switch to a different payment method.

When will my order be shipped?

You can check the estimated shipping date on the product page or in your order confirmation email. Please note that orders are processed automatically, so the actual shipping date may vary.

How long does delivery take, and how much does it cost?

Complimentary domestic shipping is available on orders over $400, while international shipping fees are calculated at checkout.

We strive to ship your order as quickly as possible based on the delivery method selected. Orders are usually dispatched within 5 business days, depending on product availability.

Is my package insured?

Once your parcel has been delivered and accepted, responsibility for the Ylesan products transfers to you.

You (or any third party you designate) should carefully check that the order is correct and in good condition at the time of delivery by the courier.

If there are any issues, you may refuse the package or specific items. In that case, please note the reason for refusal and any visible defects on the courier’s delivery slip in as much detail as possible (e.g., “opened package,” “damaged or missing items,” “wrong order,” etc.).

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

For security reasons, we are unable to process orders with a P.O. box address.

How can I track my Ylesan package?

Are duties and taxes included in international orders?

Choose the delivery option that suits you best. However, taxes and duties are handled by individual governments according to your country’s regulations. YLESAN is not able to control or adjust customs fees, as these vary from country to country.

Who will deliver my order?

Our standard shipping method is ground delivery. Your order will be shipped via one of the major carriers, including UPS and FedEx. We use DHL for all international orders.

What is the return policy if I change my mind about my Ylesan item?

Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase to be eligible for an exchange of equal value or store credit (valid for one year from the date of purchase). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns after this period.

Please ensure the item is returned in its original, unused condition and packaging. Include the original receipt (or a copy if you are returning multiple items from the same order). Returns are free of charge when using a prepaid return label provided via FedEx® or UPS.

What is Ylesan’s company policy on animal welfare?

In both good and bad ways, we live in a consumer-based world, and there are no perfect solutions for how to best use the Earth’s resources. However, as a young startup, Ylesan makes a strong effort to stay attentive to its corporate social responsibility.

The vegetable-tanned leather used by Ylesan does not originate from farms but from tanneries that are regularly and strictly inspected. We also promise never to use fur or exotic animal skins such as crocodile, lizard, snake, or stingray in any of our collections.

Synthetic leather alternatives have come a long way. However, more research is still required on the long-term environmental effects of plastic-based faux leather and faux fur, and on how these materials may indirectly impact animals during production and after disposal.

Limitation of Liability

Ylesan shall not be responsible for any breach of its obligations where product performance issues arise from force majeure, customer actions or omissions, or unforeseeable and unavoidable acts by third parties. This also applies to any situation beyond Ylesan’s reasonable control that could not have been anticipated at the time of purchase, and whose effects cannot reasonably be prevented or overcome by Ylesan.
